Have you ever seen a child's drawing and wondered what it would look like in a professional rendering?

When I was in kindergarten, the kids would always have a lesson for a small part of the beginning of class, then my teacher, Mrs. Reeves, would release us to play. The most popular stations were the painting easel, the sandbox, or the dwarf-sized kitchen, usually in that order. One day I had first pick at the painting station and was totally stoked. On the large tablet of paper I drew a stick-figure man, a fence, and a caterpillar. I may have had other things on it, but dang, that was 20 years ago. I remember the expression of awe Mrs. Reeves exuded when looking at it. In fact, she was so incredibly impressed with the painting that she sent me to the principal's office to show it off. In retrospect, I don't think my principal could've cared less, but he sent me away with a couple of strawberry candies and I was fully satisfied. Every now and again I wish my mother had kept it.

This is a personal website for a (nearly) 25 year-old femme fatale who breathes, works, and plays in Texas. Most of what one may find here are crafty vignettes ripped from the headlines of her life. She also has an odd fascination with ninjas—the black-masked killing machines, not the two-wheeled crotch-rockets. Those are dumb. Intrigued? Read more.
