Weekly Programming is for Sissies

September 27, 2006

How do I watch most of my television? By accidentally catching it, waiting until it has already aired then downloading each episode a few hours later, or waiting until the entire season is over only to download every episode and watch them consecutively without commercial interruption. It's like TiVo, but with much more effort and sans the horrible clicking/popping noise when one has to fast forward or rewind.

There is one show that I must watch every Wednesday which I am moderately ashamed to admit: Project Runway. There are very few reality shows that I have admitted to watching (and enjoying) that is or has been in production as of the past few years. Project Runway is terribly melodramatic, but what I adore is each contestant actually works to produce something tangible at the end of each episode. The show embodies creativity, innovation, and inspiration no matter how absurd the article(s) of clothing may actually be.

This is a personal website for a (nearly) 25 year-old femme fatale who breathes, works, and plays in Texas. Most of what one may find here are crafty vignettes ripped from the headlines of her life. She also has an odd fascination with ninjas—the black-masked killing machines, not the two-wheeled crotch-rockets. Those are dumb. Intrigued? Read more.
