the itching

at the risk of sounding uncouth, i've been breaking out in hives these past couple of days. i can't seem to figure out why as i haven't changed my laundry detergent or bath soap. the itching, oh god the itching, was unbearable at times but the scratching, hot damn the scratching, felt like a warm summer's breeze (filled with bunnies and magical fairies).
despite my new-found love for scratching i wasn't pleased with all of the itching and redness and oddly shaped bumps, so i took an antihistamine. i figured it would make me drowsy when coupled with only 4.5 hours of sleep the previous night. this forced me to utilize a drowsiness-averterizor: coffee.
now... well, now i feel weird, numb, tingly all over, and tired. and the hives? it feels like there's vapo-rub all over my back. moral of the story: do not take any pill with a smiley face on it.
